The Armed Forces Support

The Haigh Foundation signed the Armed Forces Covenant in 2021 to show our commitment to the armed forces community and their carers and young carers.

We provide a dedicated Armed Forces support service, offering confidential, bespoke, individual information, advice and guidance and signposting for the armed forces community, whether you are still serving, a family member, a carer, ex-services, a veteran or a reservist.

We can help with all sorts of things and have specific support for the challenges you might be facing.

Please get in touch to find out how we can help you. Email us (thehaighfoundation(at)outlook.com) or follow us on Twitter @MindsFlight and send us a DM.

As a person serving in the military, life can change dramatically if you become a carer or when a you or a family member is diagnosed with a life changing illness or disability. Or looking after someone who has returned from combat, emotionally or physically wounded, or perhaps a military spouse caring for a sick or disabled child on your own when your partner away on service. We are here to help you.

Minds Flight (The Haigh Foundation) helps military families through signposting and our Minds Flight Program. Families of retired or ex-service members that are experiencing financial difficulties can also receive grants within the guidelines of our active programs.

Minds Flight provides life enhancing grants and support for people of all ages suffering with a long-term illness, convalescing or disabled, and for their carers.

Please get in touch with us to find out more on how we can help you.

The Armed Forces Covenant for Armed Forces Families

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served, and their families, are treated fairly. This commitment is made in recognition of the sacrifices you make on behalf of the country. The Covenant covers all those who form the ‘Armed Forces Community’, which includes spouses, civil partners and children.
